'The Hand of God'

Some time ago, NASA's Chandra X-ray observatory managed to get this phenomenal photo of the 'Cosmic Hand' a.k.a 'The Hand of God.' You can view their flickr page here.

Devotees say it resembles the hue of Krishna's skin and it looks like He is holding the Sudarsana chakra!

It really does look like a hand with a discus, doesn't it?

"The almighty Personality of Godhead, Śrī Kṛṣṇa, having observed that a great danger was befalling His unalloyed devotees, who were fully surrendered souls, at once took up His Sudarśana disc to protect them." - Srimad Bhagavatam 1.8.13

  1. @DP: Amazing...it does look like Him...:)
    The colour is unmistakable... :)
And, even if it is not Him, this colour so reminds me of His complexion :)
And, it is breathtaking, isn't it? His complexion...i just can't explain how i feel when i see His complexion anywhere...the clouds when it rains, the sea...it makes me think He is watching, hiding behind...

  2. Omg, I learned how to identify rainclouds because of Krishna! And you know, after you read Chapter 7 in the Bhagavad Gita, where Krishna describes Himself, you will literally see Him in many more things! In water, in the smell of the earth, in Vedic hymns... Wow!

  5. Vishnu is really present. Our mythology is actually our history. We must not be influenced by this british system of education. Please believe in Him if you are a true Hindu
