The below post was written when I was guilty for not being a worthy devotee but then I kept digging about Sri Hari's wonderful qualities like how he gets easily satisfied with little things that one does out of love & devotion.
He accepted Sabari's fruits given out of love. Most of us know about "Sabari Moksha" but felt like mentioning about it here..after all, one can never get enough of reading or writing his beautiful stories:-)
Sabari was a very old lady during Sri Rama avataram. She waited all her life to meet Sri Rama in person and serve him. One of her gurus(Rishi Matanga) had told her sometimes before that Sri Hari's avatar lord Rama would visit her ashram one beautiful day. Hence she longed for that day to come. She decorated the pathway leading to her ashram with flowers for several days,months & years waiting for Sri Rama's visit, she used to pluck fruits from trees and taste them to check if the fruits were sweet enough to satisfy our sweet lord....and one FINE day our sweet and beloved Sri Rama walked his way along with Lakshman baiya to Sabari's ashram. Sabari's happiness knew no bounds! She was in tears out of joy & welcomed Sri Rama for whom she waited all her life. She offered him fruits which were already sipped, bit & tasted by her. She did that ONLY because she wanted Sri Rama to feast on the sweetest fruit. She did everything only out of pure love & devotion. Our Sri Hari accepted her fruits with so much of love. He Loved her fruits:-)) Then after having served Lord Rama she attained moksha. Likewise our Sri Hari has accepted the garland of Sri Kothai(Andal akka) which was already worn by her and given to him out of love.
Such is the relationship of jeevathma & Paramathma....anything & everything becomes divine in this relationship! Nothing becomes wrong or unworthy when directed towards his beautiful feet. Nothing gets tainted! Like how anything put into fire becomes fire itself, any teeny tiny step or even a thought directed towards him becomes divine no matter how small the thoughts are or how unworthy the offerings are. Everything becomes divine !

How Kind! How sweeeeeeeeeeeeeet ! How Lovable R U Sri Hari !!! May this devotee, slave, lover, friend, wife be bound in your thoughts for ever & ever..! No matter how many births it takes to hug you & kiss you, let my heart always long for you and crave for you!! Meera used to say, "Giridhari, I can't even forget you for more than 2 seconds!" Oh my Hari! Let me also be bound in your thoughts likewise.....Forever!

We don't need to be divine...only He is divine, and none else...what's the need for us to be divine? We are but slaves at the feet of the divine, lovable Lord...as long as we remain His lovers, His slaves, nothing else matters...

ReplyDeleteThnks for being open abt it....I din't mean "WE" as in we -the human beings..I wud never say that:-((( I mean't the actions that we perform out of love becomes divine whn it is directed towards him.....like when we cook for him...our body is gross, our food is unworthy, our heart is disturbed, perhaps even the food tasteless for his beautiful lips, nothing is worth....BUT the thought process of making him happy becomes DIVINE!!!!! that is the whole essence of it....like see gopikas used to dress up well for him....HE can never be attracted by gross human body he doesn't have any needs but he gets attracted towards the bakthi & love....HE is attained only thru love & bakthi and thats the thought process and that is divine according to me!!!!! I never meant WE are divine....I wudnt even say that in my wildest dream...:-( anything done out of love to him is divine!!! bacs he accepts them all....I was only talking about HIS kindness in accepting even the most unworthy things that we do for him....

In the main post too I kept explaining about how one tries to please him impress him....no matter how one's voice is, no matter how poor one's offering is, no matter how poor one appears to be, no matter how lame one writes abt him, no matter how unworthy one's status is .......the thoughts involved to please him becomes bakthi(or one of the synonyms of "Bakthi") & that bcomes divine as he accepts it & gets pleased by it (only his kindness& Love)!!!!!! Just tried to convey about how he is kind enough to accept them all!!!!! Was only trying to convey his kindness.......

ReplyDeleteI Felt very bad(infact still feel hurt) about this blog....
when we write abt other materialistic stuff, we tend to casually write them for FUN but the same is not with blogs about the ultimate LORD who we adore, respect, love.. in fact for whom we live...we all put our heart & soul to each & every word as all our blogs to him are very personal out-pour of our intimate feelings for him which we wouldn't even share it with other family members or frnds...we all share it here and sing his praises together!
In such an important forum(which is very close to me), I wouldn't want any of my readers to be mislead with the concepts which I have not tried to convey...I do not know, I read this blog like a 50 times now scanning word by word...I HONESTLY dint know where it conveys such a message wherein "We are divine"...pls don't misunderstand this response of mine...pls pls pls bear with me if this hurts U...understand me when I say this...I would like to edit or delete such a horrible statement as I really don't want it to be conveyed when I don't mean it..
Perhaps somewhere it says that otherwise why wud U get that from this blog???? I can't think of anything else since last evening...not even abt interviews...!!!! so pls help me:-( Am not over-reacting..pls don't think am being obsessed unnecessarily its just that I wouldn't want to be the cause of spreading wrong messages about my very dear lord who is my life...I can't just stand that!!!!!!! call me sensitive but thats ok....If the whole blog conveys such a message directly or indirectly I shall have it deleted:-(( I sooooooooooo wudn't want this blog here or no where not even in his heart as it doesn't deserve that place!!!!!!!......so pls help me in finding where it implies such a msg...:-( I shall edit or delete accordingly!!!

We all have doubts/make mistakes in our thoughts.
And, when i have a doubt, i have not many ppl to ask except u ppl on this blog.

Now, we all mean so many things. It's not clear sometimes.
For example, when Shabari offereed fruits to Perumal, she also incurred the wrath of Lakshmana.
It's not that either was wrong, it just was that Lakshmana could not understand the true feelings of Shabari.
Same way, our thoughts are one, aka. We are all His lovers on this blog. Our frequencies match at this level. We have, at one time or another, committed madness even for His sake...

Yes Lakshmana cudn't understand the feelings of sabari and he got sooooo mad at sabari..In reality HE got mad only bcas of his love towards Hari and Sabari's offerings were as well out of love..so both were right on their own way as both had immense love for Sri Hari.
We all too have our exchange of thoughts...we all have various opinions which might match or might not..at times we might argue toooo but Sri Hari would have soooooooooo much of FUN with all this bcas we all do such craziness only out of love...nothing is right or wrong..WE R {ALL} CRAZYYYYYY for him..only that matters for him:-))
I never got mad at U neither got hurt with YOU as i know you give any response only out of love for him...and I respond back only out of love for him...and others who read (ALL) this with patience(banging their heads though) R as well in love with him otherwise who wud have time to read our craziness hehehe

I mean...bakthi & love for him gets enriched and gets even more immense with the association of true lovers like u guys....its very contagious indeed! no matter how much of anti-bakthi elements try their hand to conquer us, the good association of true bakthas always wins and infects us with more & more love for him!!!!
Like Kulasekhar azhwar(one of the grt 12 azhwars) kept saying..."I am not interested in kingdom(he was a V powerful king) rather I would go to Srirangam and be associated with nithya suris(vaishnavs) there...& celebrate the lord along with them"..:-))
